The Pot: The sound chamber or "pot" is a hand sanded Zebrawood masterpiece. Zebrawood is an exotic hardwood commonly used for premium knife handles due to its durable characteristics and its acoustic quality making it a very sought after material for high end guitars. The dense make up and coarse grain texture of zebrawood allows us to create a turkey pot that allows the hunter to get loud and sharp when needed or whisper the most seductive yelps and purrs that an old gobbler has ever heard. The rich full sounds the Zebrawood pot produces makes this call very easy to operate and one of the most realistic sounding calls on the market.
Glass: Starting with the highest quality glass available we then preconditioned a large calling surface using state of the art laser technology that gives you a precise and consistent calling surface. This makes the call ready to use and future conditioning extremely easy.
The Striker: Once the Zebrawood Combo construction is complete we match it with our premium one piece Dymondwood striker. Our Dymondwood striker is a highly engineered wood/plastic composite made up of northern hardwood veneers that are combined with engineering grade resins. Our striker material is distinguished by its unique strength, durability, dimensional stability and weather and moisture resistance as compared to regular wood.
