What You'll Need:

  • Mild dish soap
  • Hot water
  • Wire brush
  • Nylon sponge or scouring pad
  • Paper clip or small cleaning tool
  • Garden hose

How to Clean Your Camp Chef Explorer Stove

  • Allow the stove to cool completely before cleaning.
  • Disconnect propane hose and regulator.
  • Remove control knobs by pulling them off gently.
  • Open air dampers to access burner tubes.
  • Clean venturi tubes using a flexible brush or compressed air to remove debris such as dirt or spider webs.
  • Wash exterior surfaces using hot water and mild dish soap.
  • Scrub burners with a wire brush to remove buildup and corrosion.
  • Clear burner ports using a paper clip or similar tool.
  • Rinse thoroughly with a garden hose.
  • Let stove dry upside down for at least one hour.
